We are excited to announce that the 2018 LOL Squad have been selected from the 2017 Class Clowns competition.
LOL Squad is presented by Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Arts Centre Melbourne. Participants are selected from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Class Clowns comedy competition. Participants are chosen based on their talent and passion for comedy.
Together with a range of professional mentors, LOL Squad write, act, film and edit original comedy sketches and perform a live comedy show during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Ellie has a passion for bad puns and avoiding social situations. She's also wondering how long it will take before someone realises she's only really funny to herself.
Daniel could be described as quotable as he is well known for his colourful catchphrases. Some of these include "Get away from me with that crowbar" and "No I don't have any lunch money".
Sirak is said to constantly have 3 combs on him at all times in case of emergency.
Linh is the only comedian amongst her million twins, the other Nguyens. Recently, she has been misdiagnosed with a serious case of Hipster-wannabe syndrome. Hence, Cat in Hat.
Meghna is a musician, comedienne and a Billy Bob Thornton enthusiast. Her comedy style is refreshing and witty. Some even call her 'Minty Meg' due to her freshness.
Bryn just thought LOL Squad was a kids' church group. Nevertheless he's still enjoying it.
Vincent is a soggy chip enthusiast, a professional long-romantic-walks-on-the-beacher and has been named the best sit-down comedian of 1901 by Bob Ross.
My spirit is a seagull. A hungry pest. (That could fly to a beautiful desert island but I can't really be bothered).
